Bihar Election 2025 Second Phase: With the Election Commission of India (ECI) releasing the approximate data of voter turnout in the second phase of polling, which took place today, the state observed a record high voter turnout at 68.52 per cent.

As per the figure till 5 pm, in the second and final phase of polling, Bihar wrote history with 68.52 per cent turnout, nearly 3 percentage points higher than the first phase of voting.

A total of 3.70 crore voters were to exercise their ballot rights across 122 assembly constituencies, writing the destiny of 1302 contestants, including 132 women.

Kishanganj, the lone Muslim-majority district in the state, recorded the highest polling percentage so far at 76.26, followed by adjoining Katihar (75.23) and Purnea (73.79), Supaul (70.69) and Araria (67.79).

Voting for the second and final phase of the Bihar election kicked off at 7 AM across 122 seats under tight security, and was wrapped by 5 PM.

The first phase on November 6 saw a record 65.09% turnout, 3.75 crore voters across 121 constituencies cast their ballots, with both NDA and Mahagathbandhan claiming the surge favours them.
