Bihar Election 2025 Voting Phase 1 Live Updates: The polling for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 began at 7 am on Thursday and will conclude at 6 pm. For security reasons, polling in Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Mahishi, Tarapur, Munger, Jamalpur, and 56 polling booths of the Suryagarha Assembly segment will end at 5 pm. Bihar Election 2025 will see the main contest between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Mahagathbandhan. Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj has also fielded its candidates on all 243 assembly seats in the state. Many high-profile candidates, including Mahagathbandhan's CM face Tejashwi Yadav, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Tej Pratap Yadav, Bhola Yadav, Mangal Pandey, Shravan Kumar, Khesari Lal Yadav, and Maithili Thakur are in the fray during today's polling.

According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), in the first phase, voting is being conducted for 121 constituencies spread across 18 districts. With campaigning for the first phase concluding on Tuesday evening, today’s polling will determine the political fate of 1,314 candidates, as over 3.75 crore voters exercise their franchise. The second phase of voting for remaining 122 constituencies will take place on November 11, and the results will be declared on November 14.

    Bihar Election 2025 Voting Phase 1 Live Updates: Misa Bharti Targets NDA Govt Over Mokama Murder

    After casting her vote, RJD leader Misa Bharti launched a scathing attack at the ruling NDA government in the state over Mokama murder.

    "A cabinet minister of the NDA is saying lock up the poor and don't allow them to vote. This is Jungle Raj. The way murders are happening in Mokama, this is Jungle Raj.
