Bihar Election 2025: The Election Commission on Monday announced that the Assembly polls in Bihar will be conducted in two phases- November 6 and 11. The poll body also announced that the results will be announced on November 14, urging all the voters to participate in the process. The Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar stated that the polling is being conducted soon after the Chhath festival to ensure maximum participation from the voters. Earlier on Saturday, all the key parties of the state, including BJP, RJD, JDU, Congress, and LJP had urged the poll body to conduct the election in fewer phases and after Chhath.

Key numbers regarding the polls:

- The polls will be conducted in two phases- November 6 and 11.
- The results will be announced on November 14
- 121 constituencies will go to polls on November 6
- The date of issue of notification for first phase is October 10

- Total number of constituencies is 243
