"I think the post-mortem report will reveal what actually happened. I would want the district administration to do a thorough probe and find out what happened. Prima facie, I won't call it natural death. it is a suspicious case," he added.
The businessman and his wife and their daughter, were found dead at their home in the European Colony area under the Khajanchi Hat police station. ABP reported that the deceased were identified as JD-U’s elder brother, Naveen Kushwaha (52), his wife Kanchan Mala Singh, and their daughter Tanu Priya. Priya was pursuing MBBS, while a son is a doctor.
What Caused The Deaths?
ABP, quoting Niranjan Kushwaha, reported that Priya accidentally slipped on the stairs, prompting a quick reaction from her father, who also fell on the stairs in an attempt to rescue her. Her mother was believed to have suffered a heart attack as she was unable to bear the shock of losing both her husband and daughter.
Who Was Naveen Kushwaha?
According to the media report, Naveen was a part-time politician. He had contested the 2009 Lok Sabha and 2010 Assembly elections on a BSP ticket. Later, Naveen shifted his focus to his fertiliser and seed business and became one of the top entrepreneurs in the region. His younger brother, Niranjan Kushwaha, recently made news after joining Nitish Kumar's party after being denied a ticket by the Rashtriya Janata Dal for the Dhamdaha seat, impacting the political equation in the constituency.
The sensational incident of deaths came ahead of the crucial Bihar Assembly elections. Purna will undergo voting on November 11.
