Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Popular YouTuber Manish Kashyap has been awarded ticket by Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) on Friday to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. He will be filing his nomination from the Chanpatia Assembly constituency on the auspicious day of Dhanteras, October 18.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Manish Kashyap thanked the Jan Suraaj Party for showing trust in him and declaring him the candidate from the Chanpatia Assembly constituency.

“Today, the Jan Suraj Party has shown trust in me and declared me as the party's candidate from the Chanpatia Assembly Constituency. For this, I express my heartfelt thanks to the National President, the esteemed Uday Singh Ji, State President Manoj Bharti Ji, and the architect of Jan Suraj, Prashant Kishor Ji,” he wrote.

“At the same time, thanks to all the party office-bearers, workers, and supporters who have always stood by me and given me the opportunity to serve,” Kashyap added.

Manish Kashyap Appeals To Voters To Support People’s Movement

Appealing to the people, the popular YouTuber emphasised that the upcoming election is more than just a contest; it's a promise to represent their voice in Vidhan Bhavan. He sought their support, adding that their love and blessings are his greatest source of strength.

“This is not just an election, but a pledge to convey the voice of the people to the Vidhan Bhavan. I humbly request all of you to witness this historic moment and support this journey of a people's movement. Your love and blessings are my greatest strength,” he said.

Earlier this week, poll strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) released the first list of 51 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, followed by a second list of 65 candidates on October 13.
