Bihar Govt Formation: Days after a landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly election, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to form a fresh government on November 20. The outgoing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will submit his resignation to the Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Wednesday, kickstarting the formal process of formation of a new government in the state. The oath ceremony will be held at Patna's Gandhi Maidan and is likely to be attended by several key figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The Nitish Kumar-led NDA registered victory in 202 out of the total 243 Assembly constituencies, its biggest victory after the 2010 Assembly polls.

Bihar: Here Are The Latest Updates

- Bihar caretaker Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, along with the other key NDA leaders, arrived at the Gandhi Maidan on Tuesday to review the preparation for the oath ceremony.

- The BJP has appointed Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya as the saffron party's Central Observer for the election of the legislative party.

- Apart from this, the party has also appointed Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti as the Central co-observers.

- While talking to the reporters, BJP MP Giriraj Singh confirmed that Nitish Kumar will remain the chief minister; however, he stated that the formal process is being followed by the alliance. "I don't understand the reason for the confusion. We fought the election under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He will remain the chief minister in future also but due process has to be followed for this," Singh told the reporters.

- Union Minister and HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi slammed the opposition parties for blaming the electoral process for the defeat.

- Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor accepted that his party failed to convince the voters to vote for the newly formed party.

- BJP Bihar chief Dilip Jaiswal stated that all the allies of NDA will hold key meetings on Wednesday before the swearing-in ceremony.
