Bihar Government Formation: With only a few days left before the formation of the new government in Bihar, following the NDA's landslide victory in the 18th Assembly elections, there is a hectic lobbying for ministerial posts, the cabinet, and the speaker among NDA partners.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal United (JD(U)) both demanded the speaker's chair, but now the possibility of the post going to BJP is higher as BJP's Prem Kumar, chosen to represent Gaya Town assembly seat for the 9th straight tenure, is likely to become Bihar's new speaker.

70-year-old Prem Kumar is among the most experienced in Bharatiya Janata Party.
