Bihar New Govt Formation: NDA Allies Finalise Names For Ministerial Posts; Who Are Likely To Be Included?

Bihar New Government Formation: The allies of the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have reportedly finalised the names of their ministerial portfolios for the government formation. The reports suggest that the cabinet is not likely to witness any major changes; however, Chirag Paswan's LJP (R) will get its share. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called a cabinet meeting on Monday, where all the names are likely to be finalised. The incumbent alliance registered a massive victory in the recently concluded Bihar Assembly polls by winning 203 out of the total 243 Assembly constituencies.

The LJP (R) has reportedly finalised the names of Raju Tiwari and Sanjay Paswan for the ministerial posts. Apart from this, the Upendra Kushwaha-led RLM has decided to give the post to Snehlata Kushwaha, wife of the party's founder, reported Jagran.Com. Apart from this, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's son Santosh Suman is again set to get the ministerial post.

The JDU has also finalised the names of several current ministers, including Vijay Chaudhary, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Shravan Kumar, Ashok Chaudhary, Leshi Singh, Madan Sahni, Jayant Raj, and Sunil Kumar. Apart from this, the names of Manjit Singh and Ramsevak Singh are also being considered for the ministerial posts, reported Jagran.Com. The reports also suggest that Santosh Nirala or Shyam Rajak might get a post if Sunil Kumar's name is removed from the list.

The BJP has also reportedly finalised the names of key leaders such as Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Nitin Naveen, Mangal Pandey, and Hari Sahni. All these leaders are expected to get their older ministers to maintain the continuity; however, Vijay Sinha could be made Assembly Speaker if he will not get the post of deputy chief minister. The party is also reportedly considering the names of Ramkripal Yadav and Digha MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia for the ministerial posts.
