In an effort to make reporting sexual harassment at the workplace more accessible and confidential, the Bihar Police has shared the complete process for registering complaints online through the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development’s ‘SHe-Box’ portal.
Officials have posted step-by-step instructions on social media, guiding women on how to file complaints from home without visiting police stations or offices. To register a complaint, users must log in to the SHe-Box website, select the “Register Your Complaint” option, click “Proceed,” and then “Register Complaint.”
Complainants must choose the relevant sector, Central Government offices, State Government offices, or the private sector, fill in the required details, and submit the form. Once submitted, the complaint is sent to the appropriate authorities for further action.
The SHe-Box portal, operated by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, allows women working in both organised and unorganised sectors, private or public, to register and monitor complaints of workplace sexual harassment.
