Bihar will get three new Amrit Bharat Express trains, which will be flagged off on September 29. Connecting Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana, these trains aim to provide passengers with a safe and comfortable travel experience.

With this, four additional passenger trains will also be launched, bringing the total to seven trains that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary will flag off. Vaishnaw will participate in the program via video conferencing.

Three Bihar Amrit Bharat Express Trains Details 

The first train will be from Muzaffarpur to Charlapalli (near Hyderabad), while the other two will be from Darbhanga to Madar Junction (near Ajmer), and from Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi).

Muzaffarpur-Charlapalli (near Hyderabad) Amrit Bharat Express 

1. The Muzaffarpur-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will be the first Amrit Bharat train connecting Muzaffarpur to South India.

2. The train departs Muzaffarpur every Tuesday at 10:40 am and reaches Charlapalli on Wednesday at 11:50 pm.

3. The return train from Charlapalli, train number 15294, leaves every Thursday at 4:05 am and arrives in Muzaffarpur on Friday at 5:00 pm.

4. The train route includes Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj Chheoki, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur, and Kazipet.

Chhapra-Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi) Amrit Bharat Express 

1. The train connecting Chhapra to Delhi will be the sixth Amrit Bharat train from Bihar to Delhi.

2. The train route passes through Siwan, Thawe, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Aishbagh (Lucknow), and Kanpur.

Darbhanga-Madar Junction (near Ajmer) Amrit Bharat Express

1. This will be a weekly train running from Darbhanga to Ajmer.

2. The train departs Madar Junction every Friday at 9:15 pm and reaches Darbhanga the next day at 12:45 pm.

3. The return train, number 19624, leaves Darbhanga every Sunday at 4:15 am and arrives the next day at 1:20 pm.

4. The train route includes Kamtaul, Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Gomti Nagar, Kanpur, Tundla, and Jaipur.

Amrit Bharat Express Features

1. These Amrit Bharat Express trains are state-of-the-art indigenous trains offering fast, safe, and comfortable travel.

2. They feature semi-automatic couplers for efficient train operations.

3. Equipped with fire detection systems to enhance passenger safety.

4. Include sealed gangways for better security and comfort.

5. Feature talk-back units for easy communication.

6. Advanced technology has been introduced in non-AC coaches as well to ensure passenger safety.

Four Passenger Trains 

1. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary will flag off four passenger trains.

2. The trains will operate on the following routes: Patna-Buxar, Jhajha-Danapur, Patna-Islampur, and Nawada-Patna via Sheikhpura-Barbigha.

3. The start of passenger services on the Sheikhpura-Barbigha-Bihar Sharif route fulfills a long-pending demand of people in the Barbigha-Asthawan-Bihar Sharif region, following a successful CRS inspection.

4. These trains will run six days a week, excluding Sundays.
