To facilitate smooth travel for passengers to and from Bihar during major festivals, the Transport Department will operate 150 AC buses on interstate routes connecting Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The initiative will run for about three months under a government subsidy scheme, with buses operated on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

Following the government’s announcement, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has initiated the application process. Bus owners interested in participating can submit their applications at the Transport Complex in Phulwarisharif until July 26.
