Starting next year, the Bihar government will provide free coaching for JEE and NEET aspirants across all 634 Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ Schools in the state. In the first phase, more than 6,000 students from Classes 9 to 12 in 232 schools will receive coaching.
The state’s estimated annual expenditure for the programme is Rs 23,15,000. Currently, 402 Kasturba Gandhi schools operate only up to Class 8, but these are being upgraded to the Plus-Two level to ensure coaching services can be extended there as well.

Students will also receive AI-based doubt resolution, interactive digital classes, free access to the PW app, and continuous monitoring of their academic progress.
