Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, while addressing a gathering organised by the All India Advocates Council, Bihar Chapter, at the Bihar State Bar Council in Patna, assured an insurance plan for lawyers. He also announced that the government is positively considering an Advocate Protection Act and improvements to the existing fee structure, promising good news soon. 

Meghwal spoke extensively on Dr BR Ambedkar's life philosophy and his message of social harmony, emphasising the need for widespread harmony to realise Ambedkar's dreams. He acknowledged the contributions of prominent figures from Bihar, such as Dr Sachchidanand Sinha, Dr Rajendra Prasad, and Jayaprakash Narayan.

Rajya Sabha member Manan Kumar Mishra, also present at the event, highlighted Dr Ambedkar's emphasis on equality, liberty, and fraternity in the Indian Constitution as the foundation for a harmonious society. Senior advocate and Additional Solicitor General, Dr KN Singh, and Bihar State Bar Council Chairman, Ramakant Sharma, also shared their views on social harmony. 

Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary of the All India Advocates Council, Bihar, expressed pride that a Union Law Minister addressed lawyers at the Bihar State Bar Council for the first time. Numerous advocates, including National Council Member Dr Chandrashekhar Azad, State President Vinod Kumar, and Regional Secretary Sunil Kumar, attended the event.
