Bihar Weather: Moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, along with the active monsoon trough passing over Bihar, are set to bring heavy rainfall to several parts of the state in the coming days.
According to the Meteorological Center Patna, a warning of thunder and lightning has been issued for 17 districts on Sunday, while Araria and Kishanganj are likely to witness heavy rainfall on September 8.

Despite reduced rainfall in recent days, Patna remained the hottest city in the state for the second consecutive day, recording a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius. A rise in maximum temperatures was reported in 19 districts, with cloudy weather and humid conditions troubling residents in the capital and adjoining areas.
In the last 24 hours, scattered rainfall was recorded across the state. The highest, 28.2 mm, was reported in Barhat (Jamui), followed by 24.6 mm in Gurua (Gaya), 22.8 mm in Sugauli (East Champaran), and 20.4 mm in Nautan (Siwan).
Other districts including Rohtas, Supaul, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Kaimur, West Champaran, Aurangabad, and Banka also received light to moderate showers. Winds blew at a speed of up to 22 km/h in Siwan, Motihari, Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Banka.

- Patna: Max 36.5, Min 29.4
- Gaya: Max 35.7, Min 26.4
- Bhagalpur: Max 34.0, Min 28.2
- Muzaffarpur: Max 34.0, Min 28.1
The Meteorological Department has predicted a change in weather conditions from September 8, bringing relief from the rising temperatures.
