Most parts of Bihar are expected to remain partly cloudy on August 15, with drizzle reported at some locations. Authorities have issued a warning for heavy rain accompanied by thunder in Gaya and West Champaran.

A state-wide alert has also been issued for thunderstorms and lightning, with wind speeds reaching 30–40 km per hour in many areas. No significant change in maximum temperatures is expected over the next 48 hours.

On Thursday, weather conditions remained normal in Patna and surrounding regions, with cloud movement observed throughout the day. Rainfall was recorded across several districts of Patna in the last 24 hours, with Athmalgola receiving the highest rainfall at 226.2 mm. 

The maximum temperature in Patna rose by six degrees, reaching 32.6 degrees Celsius. Valmiki Nagar recorded the state’s highest maximum temperature at 34.0 degrees Celsius. Except for Motihari and Dehri, most districts, including Patna, saw an increase in maximum temperatures.
