The Bihar government is set to enter into cultural agreements with three states to strengthen national unity and foster cultural coordination. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will soon be signed as part of the Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat initiative to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of these states.
In December 2024, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh signed a three-year cultural partnership under this program, committing to cooperation in cultural, educational, and social initiatives. As part of the agreement, artists from Uttar Pradesh performed in Bihar on Bihar Day, while Bihar’s artists showcased their talents on Uttar Pradesh Day.
