The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is launching a special "South India Tour with Jyotirlinga Darshan" package aboard its Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. This 12-night, 13-day pilgrimage tour is scheduled to depart on December 5.
The journey will begin in Saharsa and will take passengers to some of South India's most significant religious and cultural sites. The train has a capacity of 600 seats, with boarding and deboarding available at several stations across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, including Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Patliputra, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot.

Tirupati: Balaji Temple
Rameshwaram: Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga
Madurai: Meenakshi Temple

Trivandrum: Padmanabhaswamy Temple
Andhra Pradesh: Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga
Scheme Objectives And Inclusions
Developed under the government's 'Dekho Apna Desh' and 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' initiatives, the tour aims to promote domestic and religious tourism.
The all-inclusive package covers rail travel, hotel stays, vegetarian meals, local transportation, sightseeing, security, and travel insurance.

- Standard Class: Rs 35,440 per person
