Gopal Mandal, a JD(U) MLA from Bhagalpur, has a long history of being embroiled in controversies. In a fresh incident, a video of Mandal has gone viral, showing him snoring while seated on stage during a program at Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) in Sabour, Bhagalpur. The incident occurred on Monday during the 15th Foundation Day celebrations of BAU. The event was attended by several legislators, public representatives and innovative farmers, including the Rural Development Minister of Bihar, Shrawan Kumar.

In the video, Mandal can be seen sitting next to Minister Shrawan Kumar on the stage, with his head resting on the chair and falling into a deep sleep. He appeared to be in such a deep slumber as if he hadn't slept for days.

Gopal Mandal, known for courting controversies, has once again become the talk of the town with this incident. Whatever he does, it manages to grab public attention. This latest viral video is just another example of his behaviour that has raised eyebrows.

Minister Tries To Wake Mandal

When Kumar noticed Mandal, he tried to wake him up. Lalan Paswan, the MLA from Pirpainti, who was also on stage, made attempts to wake him as well. However, JD(U) leader would fall asleep each time they woke him.

Even when Bihar Legislative Council member NK Yadav delivered his speech from the stage, Mandal was seen sleeping. Several people seated next to him on stage attempted to wake him up multiple times. However, when their efforts failed, they eventually gave up. Throughout the program, Gopal Mandal continued to sleep peacefully.

The JDU MLA from the Gopalpur constituency in the Bhagalpur Parliamentary region often finds himself in the spotlight due to his behaviour. Known for expressing his opinions boldly on any issue, Mandal’s snoring during a government program has now become the latest topic of discussion.
