Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday took a swipe at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alleging that the JDU leader dances to the tunes of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He further claimed that the saffron party would soon snatch away the CM's post from Kumar. Kharge’s remarks come a day after PM Modi took "katta" jibe at Congress and RJD.
"Nitish Kumar is sitting in BJP's lap, but it won't make him Chief Minister; instead, give the post to some 'chela'," Kharge said at a rally in Bihar's Vaishali.

The Congress chief also took pot shots at Nitish Kumar's stint as Bihar CM, saying in two decades of rule, he had done little to improve people's lives.
"He has taken oath as Chief Minister nine times and ruled for twenty years, yet he failed to provide jobs or stop the migration of Bihar's youth," Kharge remarked.

Meanwhile, Mahagathbandhan Chief Minister nominee Tejashwi Yadav criticised PM Modi over his "katta" statement, stating that he doesn't speak negatively like the Prime Minister.
Yadav said that whenever the PM goes to Gujarat, he talks about factories, but during his Bihar visit, he talks about guns. The RJD leader stressed that he has never seen such a "low-level" language from a Prime Minister.
The Bihar Assembly Election will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14. Bihar elections will see the main contest between the National Democratic Alliance and the Mahagathbandhan. Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj has also staked claims on all 243 seats of the state.
