NHAI is set to install traffic signals at the Sadatpur Mor junction, within the Kanti police station area, Muzaffarpur, to prevent road accidents and alleviate traffic jams. A proposal to this effect has been sent to the headquarters by the NHAI.
Work on installing the traffic signal will commence after approval is received. The issue was raised during a recent meeting chaired by District Magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen.

After conducting a survey, the NHAI prepared this proposal and sent it to the headquarters for approval. Sadatpur Mor has already been identified as a black spot due to several road accidents. The design of the roundabout is such that vehicles approaching from the Darbhanga side are not visible, which leads to collisions with vehicles coming from the direction of Motihari or Chandni Chowk. Motorcyclists, in particular, have frequently been the victims.
In view of this, speed breakers were constructed on all sides. Now, a problem of severe traffic jams arises: a severe traffic jam problem now occurs there. Due to the speed breakers, all vehicles slow down near the junction.

As a result, other vehicles, especially bus drivers, begin to overtake. This causes traffic jams, and once a jam occurs, the situation persists for hours. In view of this, the decision has been made to install traffic signals.
