Bihar Trains Update: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to flag off five new trains in Bihar on April 24, the Times Of India reported. These trains originating from the Samstipur division of the East Central Railway (ECR) Division will provide a seamless travel experience to the people of Bihar.

Among them is Bihar's first-ever Namo Bharat Rapid Raid also known as Vande Metro, that will run between Patna and Madhubani. The semi-high-speed train will significantly cut the travel time between the state capital and Madhubani.

Once operational, the RRTS will bring an all-new, comfortable, and modern era experience of train travel for the people of Bihar.

The first Namo Bharat Rapid Rail was inaugurated by PM Modi in Gujarat in 2024 which runs between Bhuj and Ahmedabad.

Preparations are in full swing for the success of the grand event. Moreover, the report suggests that the prime minister will flag off four other trains that will enhance Bihar's railway connectivity to the rest of India.
