BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have reached Gandhi Maidan in Patna as Nitish Kumar takes oath as Bihar CM shortly. 

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Nitiyanand Rai, and Giriraj Singh are also present for the ceremony.

Ahead of NDA govt formation in Bihar, Singer and BJP MLA-elect Maithili Thakur says, "...This day is being celebrated as a grand festival...PM Modi is also arriving soon."

After leaving the CM residence, Nitish Kumar went straight to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Nitish Kumar will leave for Gandhi Maidan shortly, jagran.com reported.

JDU chief Nitish Kumar was on Wednesday unanimously elected as leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Legislature Party.

Prem Kumar, a senior BJP leader who has been elected nine times from Gaya Town, will be the next Speaker of Bihar. He has extensive experience in parliamentary politics.

This Bihar election has proved very lucky for Upendra Kushwaha. The NDA has returned to power with a landslide majority. Kushwaha's son Deepak Kushwaha, is now set to become a minister. He is also being offered the position of MLC by the NDA. jagran.com reported.

Eight ministers including Vijay Chaudhary, Vijendra Yadav, Shravan Kumar, Ashok Chaudhary, Zaman Khan, Sunil Kumar, Leshi Singh from JDU will take oath, jagran.com reported.

"Today is a moment of great pride for Bihar. In this festival of democracy, the people of Bihar have created history by giving the NDA a historic victory. Nitish Kumar will become Chief Minister for the 10th time today. Meanwhile, Ashok Choudhary, Ramkripal Yadav, Sanjay Tiger, and Deepak Prakash have received calls to be sworn in as ministers. Mangal Pandey and Shreyasi Singh have also received calls.

Nitish Kumar will be sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time on Thursday. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna at 11:30 am.,

JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said, "...Today, the NDA government is going to be formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. After today's swearing-in, our resolve is to place Bihar in the list of the 10 best states in the country. To this end, a wave of development has been flowing in Bihar, and together we will establish new dimensions…"

On the swearing-in ceremony of Bihar Chief Minister, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, "Congratulations to the people of Bihar on the formation of this new government. I am sure that Bihar will become the growth engine of Viksit Bharat in the future."

VVIP movement has increased at Patna airport for to the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister. Till late Wednesday night, a total of four chartered planes reached Patna airport, in which several Chief Ministers and Ministers landed. Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reached Patna by chartered plane while Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Minister Eknath Shinde reached Patna by different planes.
