Patna Airport News: Starting today, December 17, the winter schedule will be implemented at the Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport, Patna, which will lead to a change in the timing and the total number of flights operating from the airport, directly impacting passengers. This new schedule will see a reduction in some airline operations, including IndiGo, which will decrease its daily operations to 23 pairs of flights.

The airport authorities have advised passengers to check with their respective airlines for updated schedules and possible adjustments, particularly amid dense fog conditions during the winter season.

Patna Airport: Check IndiGo Winter Schedule

Under the new winter schedule, IndiGo Airlines has reduced its daily operations at Patna Airport to 23 pairs of flights, Jagran.com reported. While IndiGo remains the airport's largest operator, the reduction in daily flight operations is a strategic move aimed at stabilising flight movements and improving operations after widespread cancellations across its network.

Patna Airport: Check Air India Winter Schedule

Under the new winter schedule, Air India is set to operate five pairs of flights daily, while Air India Express and SpiceJet will each operate three pairs to manage the seasonal demand, Jagran.com report added.

Updated Flight Timings At Patna Airport

Once the winter schedule is implemented at the Patna Airport, the first incoming flight of the day will be an Air India flight from Delhi, which is scheduled to land in Patna at 9:40 AM.

Following this arrival, the same airline is scheduled to be the airport's first departure of the day, heading back to Delhi at 10:25 AM.

Advisory For Air Travellers Amid Dense Fog

According to the airport authorities, the new winter schedule has been designed to ensure passenger safety and maintain smooth operations despite the increased morning fog. This new schedule is expected to remain in effect until March 2026. While some major airlines have limited their flight operations as a precautionary measure, services will continue on high-demand routes to ensure connectivity.

Passengers are advised to verify their flight's real-time status with their respective airlines before heading to the airport to avoid inconvenience.
