Patna Election 2025 Voting Live Updates: Digha, Kumhrar See Low Voter Turnout; Paliganj Leads With Over 30% Voting Till 11 AM

On the ongoing first phase of polling in the Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit said, "As per the information received so far, no untoward incidents have been reported anywhere. Bihar has always set an example, and we will conduct this election smoothly."

He added, "It is a very important day, and I have come here with my family to cast our votes. I appeal to all voters to exercise their right to vote.",

JDU leader Ashok Chaudhary, along with his wife Nita Chaudhary, their daughter, and LJP Ram Vilas MP Shambhavi Chaudhary, cast their votes at a polling booth at St. Paul School in Buddha Colony. JDU leader Ashok Chaudhary said, "I appeal to the people to remember that this is the same Bihar that once extended from Afghanistan to Bangladesh. Bihar made India a golden sparrow during the Maurya period. We have a rich history and culture. To reclaim that, we must vote for development and rise above caste politics.",

Patna DSP Anu Kumari inspects a polling booth as voting for the first phase of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Election 2025 is underway. She says, "The police and the administration are assisting the public, and the polling is proceeding smoothly. There are no issues anywhere. Any minor inconvenience is being addressed immediately.",

23.71% voting was recorded till 11 AM across 14 assembly seats in Patna. Voters are actively participating in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections today.,

Lalu Yadav Prasad posted on X, "The roti must be turned on the pan, or it will burn. Twenty years is enough! Now, a youth government and a Tejashwi government are essential for a new Bihar.",

Shreya said, “The BLO didn’t give me my voter slip, and now they’re saying it’s my fault. They told me to download it digitally, but here they’re insisting it has to be shown in person. I wasn’t provided the slip today, I don’t even know why. Now it’s getting late, so I’m leaving. I came here to vote, but this kind of chaos happens every time in Bihar.”,

A voter turnout of 11.22% was recorded till 9 AM across 14 assembly seats in Patna. The polling, which began at 7:00 am, will continue till 6:00 pm. A total of 149 candidates are contesting in these constituencies as voters step out to elect their representatives in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections.,
