PM Modi's Mother AI Video: The Patna High Court on Wednesday Directed Congress to remove AI video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother from all social media platforms. Coincidentally, the High Court's order to remove the controversial post came on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.
The court has issued notices to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Election Commission of India, Meta, Google, X (Twitter), and the Ministry of Information Technology. A division bench headed by Acting Chief Justice PB Bajanthri gave the order while hearing a public interest litigation filed by petitioner Viveka Singh.

The video was shared by the Bihar Congress unit on its X handle on September 10, in which "the PM is seen dreaming about his late mother who is criticising him over his politics in poll-bound Bihar." The video came days after outrage over abuse to PM Modi's mother at Rahul Gandhi led 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' event. The AI video drew severe criticism from the ruling NDA allies.
Low-Level Politics: BJP Slams Congress
Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party accused the Congress of playing low-level politics by circulating a purported AI-generated video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, "In everyone's life, the place of a mother is paramount, but Congress and RJD have stooped so low that they are using ill words about the late mother of the Prime Minister. Through this AI-generated video, the mentality of Congress and RJD is visible. Is it necessary to abuse anyone's mother in politics?"
