The Patna Metro project comprises two major corridors one stretching from Patna Junction to the Pataliputra Bus Terminal, and the other from Danapur to Mithapur. With a total investment of Rs 13,365 crore, the project targets the operational launch of the first corridor by 2027. Now that the rack is in place, technical experts will begin a thorough inspection, which includes tests of electrical systems, safety parameters, and other operational components. Once these checks are complete, the trial run of the Patna Metro will begin, bringing the city one step closer to a transformative public transport system.
