Bihar Polls 2025: The Bihar government will provide jobs and employment to one crore youth in the next five years (2025-2030). A proper policy will be made for this and a high level committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner to explore job options and for consultation. This proposal was approved in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday, jagran.com reported. A total of 30 proposals were approved in the meeting.

-Ganga Path Gets Approval In Munger

Ganga Path project has been approved for 83 km between Munger and Sabour. Rs 9,970 crore will be spent on this project. Ganga Path Pad Project is an alternative bypass along the Ganga in Munger and Bhagalpur urban areas. In view of the problem of traffic jams due to increasing pressure of vehicles in the urban area, the construction of Ganga Path along the banks of the Ganga will provide a safe travel facility to the general public.

-Estimate Of Bakhtiyarpur Tajpur Four Lane Bridge Approved

The estimate of the Bakhtiyarpur Tajpur four-lane bridge which has been under construction for 10 years has been revised for the third time. Now this bridge will be completed for 3,923 crore. The cabinet has approved a proposal to this effect.

-The cabinet has approved a proposal to give Rs 5 lakh to the dependents of tax paying businessmen who die in an accident under the Bihar Business Accident Death Grant Scheme. Individual taxpayers will get this benefit.

-Rs 3.94 Lakh For Running High Schools And Higher Secondary Schools

The Cabinet has approved Rs 3.94 lakh for running high schools and higher secondary schools under the finance-free education policy. This amount is given on the basis of children securing first, second and third positions in these schools.

-Big Boost To Patna Metro

For the maintenance of Patna Metro for three years, Rs 179 crore have been given to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited. Along with this, Rs 21.15 crore was approved for hiring a three car single train set.

-Talks Progressed Further On 7 Nischay Programme

Administrative approval of Rs 80 crore for the purchase of machines, equipment and computers etc. in the laboratories in 46 government polytechnic institutes run under the Department of Science and Technology under the Saat Nishchay program. Approval of Rs 90 crore for machines, equipment and computers in the laboratories in 38 government engineering colleges run under the Department of Science and Technology under the Saat Nishchay program.

-Cabinet approved an amount of Rs 7832.29 crore for the expansion, renovation and modernization work of the Western Kosi Canal Project.

-The proposal for granting annual salary increment to the officers of Bihar Judicial Service in line with state employees from January 2016 was also approved.

-The Cabinet has approved the proposal to give a risk allowance of 30 per cent of the maximum basic salary of Rs 25,000 per month to the personnel of the bomb disposal squad. This will be given every month.

-The Cabinet has approved Rs 99,99,63,992 for the Danapur Jalal Supply Project under the centrally sponsored Atal Renovation and Urban Transformation Mission Amrit 2.0. In this, a 117.72 km water distribution network will be developed.

-Proposals to give Rs 51,68,40,000 for giving one-time honorarium of Rs 6,000 in addition to annual honorarium to 77895 BLOs and 8245 BLO supervisors for special intensive revision work of voter list were approved.

-Apart from this, Bihar Pump Storage Project Promotion Policy 2025 has been approved. It is a new energy storage policy for the availability of renewable energy sources. An investment of Rs 1 lakh crore is expected under this.
