Patna Bank Manager Death: A bank manager, Abhishek Barun, who went missing, was found dead in a well in the Beur area, Patna, Bihar on Tuesday. His scooter was also recovered from the same well, deepening the mystery around his death.

According to police, the Bank Manager was found dead in 30-foot dry well in Beur.

Police Suspect Scooty May Have Skidded Into Well

Phulwarisharif Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sushil Kumar said, “Abhishek Barun went missing from July 13 when he left from Ganpati Utsav hall at around 10 pm on scooty. His family registered a missing case the next day. However, today a body and a scooty have been found inside the well. It appears like an accident because there is no boundary of the well, and the scooty can slip into it. Investigation is being done.”

Barun, a branch manager of a private bank living in Kankarbagh police station area, went missing since late Sunday night from an event. 

Accident Call Was Received By Family

According to the complaint filed by the family with the Kankarbagh police station, they received a call that he met with an accident. 

Investigation revealed that he was last seen going to Beur area on a scooter. On Sunday night, he had gone to attend a program on a scooter with his wife and children were also with him. After attending the program, he sent his wife and child home. He stayed there. After reaching home, his wife called Abhishek when it was late. He was told her that he would return home soon, but he did not reach even. After this, he called his family and told them that he had met with an accident. Then his mobile went switched off.
