Indian Railways has announced special train services to promote religious tourism and ensure convenient travel for devotees. During the summer vacation, many families visit pilgrimage sites, leading the railways to introduce a Patna–Puri Special Train.
This train will operate every Sunday from May 4 to June 29, departing from Patna at 13:30 hrs and reaching Puri at 09:45 hrs the next day. On the return journey, it will leave Puri every Saturday at 14:55 hrs.
In addition, the Saharsa–Rani Kamlapati Special Express will be run for passengers from North Bihar. This train will pass through Barauni, Hajipur, Patliputra, DDU, Jabalpur, and Itarsi.

It will operate from Rani Kamlapati to Saharsa every Monday from April 7 to June 30. The return journey will commence every Tuesday at 18:30 hrs from Saharsa, with the train passing through Patliputra before reaching Rani Kamlapati.
Railway officials have assured that necessary measures are being taken regularly to improve passenger convenience and meet increasing travel demands.
