Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a roadshow in Patna today, which is expected to be a huge event as Bihar BJP workers have carried out extensive arrangements over the days for the political rally. The capital city is said to welcome PM Modi with about 25 tonnes of flowers along with thousands of supporters lined up to witness PM Modi as four phases of 2024 Lok Sabha Election are still left.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Patna will be aboard an Air Force aircraft, landing at Patna Airport. Meanwhile, security measures have been enhanced for PM Modi’s political rally. An additional 100 CISF personnel have been strategically placed at the airport, complemented by soldiers positioned between each watchtower. Surveillance is being rigorously conducted from both the old and new terminal buildings, with a full rehearsal of the security protocols carried out on Saturday.
Nitin Naveen, Minister of Urban Development and Housing Department and the road show’s in-charge, expressed the people’s eager anticipation for the Prime Minister’s arrival. The event promises to be nothing short of remarkable, he said as BJP workers have been actively encouraging the public to participate in the road show.

The roadshow will be met with a series of cultural celebrations. Teams from the Ganga Maha Aarti and porters will extend their greetings, alongside beneficiaries of the union government’s various schemes. This event is claimed to be not just a political showcase but a vibrant display of the city’s culture and popularity of PM Modi.
PM Modi Patna Roadshow Route
The roadshow is set to begin at the roundabout near the Income Tax office, a short distance from the state BJP headquarters and will end at Udyog Bhavan, close to Gandhi Maidan. Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajeev Mishra, stated that there will be a halt to all vehicle traffic along the path of the roadshow. The roadshow will pass through areas such as Kadam Kuan, Fraser Road, Exhibition Road and Sahitya Sammelan.
It is anticipated that most shops along the route of the roadshow will stay shut. Security measures include barricades along the route and the deployment of security forces on the rooftops of certain buildings.
