The Patna district administration enforced a strict security protocols in response to Prime Ministre Narendra Modi’s roadshow on Sunday, leading to a significant overhaul in the train schedule at Patna Junction. Due to PM Modi’s Patna roadshow, multiple trains have been diverted that pass throught the Patna railway station from 2 pm to 10 pm on May 12.

More than 20 trains, including prominent ones like the 12309 Tejas Express and the 12303 Sampoorna Kranti Express, will not make their usual stops at Patna Junction as part of the security arrangements. These trains, which are on their route from Rajendra Nagar Terminal to New Delhi, will instead halt at Danapur station to facilitate passengers who typically board from Patna Junction.

The administration has also decided to completely close the Patna Junction and the Karbigahiya parking complex for the duration of the Prime Minister’s road show. Commuters have been advised to use the Karbigahiya campus for pick-up and drop-off during this time.
