In a first reaction to Tejaswi Yadav's appointment as the national working president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), his estranged sister Rohini Acharya has launched a scathing attack on him in a cryptic post.
Taking to X, she called his appointment as the end of the glorious era of 'apex person', apparently referring to Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is the national president of the party. In a post written in Hindi, she said, "In a way, this is the end of the glorious innings of the top man in politics.
Without naming Tejashwi, she called him a 'puppet prince' controlled by a gang of infiltrators. She stated, "Congratulations to the flatterers and the 'giroh-e-ghuspaith' (gang of infiltrators) on the coronation of their 'puppet prince' (Kathptli Bane Shahzada)."
Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi, was appointed the RJD's national working president at the party's national executive meeting held at Hotel Maurya in Patna.
His name was proposed by Bhola Yadav and was unanimously agreed upon by all leaders. In addition to Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav's mother Rabri Devi, sister Misa Bharti, and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav, several senior party leaders were present at the meeting.
In her earlier post on 'Laluwad', he wrote, "A true Laluwadi is anyone who has fought selflessly for the party built by Laluji, which strongly fights for the interests of the marginalised population - the deprived, anyone who has seen Laluji's continuous struggle for socio-economic justice."
