Lalu Family Feud: Following the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)'s crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, a rift has emerged within Lalu Prasad Yadav's family. Lalu's younger son, Tejashwi Yadav, reportedly blamed his sister, Rohini Acharya, for the Assembly election defeat. NDTV reported that Tejashwi had a heated argument with his sister, prompting her to quit politics and disown the family.

During the argument on Saturday afternoon, Tejashwi reportedly told his elder sister, "We lost the election because of you. We are cursed because of you." It is also reported that during the argument, he angrily threw a slipper at her and verbally abused her.

I'm Taking Responsibility: Rohini

Rohini Acharya, one of the nine children of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, announced on Saturday afternoon that she was severing ties with her family and leaving politics. Acharya also stated that she was taking full responsibility for the Bihar election defeat. "I am taking full responsibility for the defeat," she said after leaving the home in Patna.

"I Have No Family Anymore": Rohini

Rohini Acharya said that those who question Tejashwi's associates are thrown out of the house. She said, "I have no family anymore. Ask Sanjay (Yadav), Rameez, and Tejashwi Yadav. They have ousted me from the family because they don't want to take responsibility. Only those who want to be 'Chanakya' will be questioned. When a party worker is questioning Chanakya... the world is asking how the party reached this situation (in the Bihar elections)?" she told reporters in Patna.

Rohini Acharya alleged that when you mention Sanjay and Rameez, you are thrown out of the house, defamed, and attacked with slippers.

In a new post on X this morning, "Yesterday, I was cursed at and told that I am dirty, and that I got my father to have my dirty kidney transplanted into him, took crores of rupees, bought a ticket, and then got that dirty kidney put in... To all the daughters and sisters who are married, I will say that when there's a son or brother in your maternal home, never, ever save your god-like father; instead, tell your brother, the son of that house, to get his own kidney or that of one of his Haryanvi friends transplanted. All sisters and daughters should look after their own homes and families, take care of their children and their in-laws' household without caring for their parents, think only about themselves. For me, it became a huge sin that I didn't look after my family, my three children, didn't take permission from my husband or my in-laws when donating the kidney... I did what I did to save my god, my father, and today it's been called dirty... May none of you ever make a mistake like mine, may no family ever have a daughter like Rohini."

"Sudarshan Chakra Chalega": Tej Pratap Supports Sister

Tej Pratap Yadav, who was also ousted from the Lalu family and party, came forward to support his sister. He warned that anyone who insulted his sister would face a Sudarshan Chakra.

Speaking to the media, Tej Pratap said that his sister's name will be etched in golden letters in the pages of history for what she did for her father. He said that she (Rohini Acharya) is absolutely right in her place. "As a mother, sister, and daughter, hardly anyone could have done what she did. She is revered by all women and by them," he added.
