Vande Bharat Train Update: Travel between Patna and Dhanbad is about to get much easier with the introduction of Vande Bharat Express. In the near future, passengers can board a train in Patna during the afternoon and reach Dhanbad by evening, offering much better connectivity between the two cities.
However, a brand-new Vande Bharat Express won't be launched specifically for this route. Instead, there will be slight changes to the schedules and halts of the existing Vande Bharat Express trains running between Patna and Tata, and Gaya to Howrah. These changes will allow the Vande Bharat to serve as a link between Patna and Dhanbad, according to Jagran.com.
Currently, the Patna-Tata Vande Bharat Express already stops at Gomoh. Once the Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express also starts halting at Gomoh, passengers will have easy access to Dhanbad from Patna. The preparation for this service has already begun to provide passengers from Dhanbad with a smoother travel experience.
The Dhanbad Rail Division has sent a proposal to the headquarters for approval. DRM Kamal Kishore Sinha mentioned that efforts are being made to make Vande Bharat connectivity available for passengers traveling between Patna and Dhanbad. It's hoped that this facility will be available soon, enhancing travel convenience.
Vande Bharat Train Update: How the New Service Will Work?
- The 20894 Patna-Tata Vande Bharat Express operates four days a week. It departs from Patna at 2:05 PM and reaches Gomoh at 5:54 PM.
- The 22304 Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express passes Gomoh at 5:29 PM.
Once the Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express halts at Gomoh, passengers traveling from Patna will easily be able to reach Dhanbad.
Vande Bharat Train Update: Better Travel Options for Dhanbad Passengers
Currently, the Patna-Ranchi Jan Shatabdi Express provides a morning option for travel, leaving Patna at 6:10 AM and arriving at Gomoh at 10:25 AM, making it easy for passengers to reach Dhanbad.
With the addition of the Vande Bharat Express, passengers will enjoy enhanced evening connectivity, ensuring a seamless travel experience from Patna to Dhanbad, just like the morning options.
