Adani Green, Adani Power Share Prices Fall Over 5% After Conglomerate’s Auditor Faces Inquiry; Check Today’s Share prices

Adani Group listed companies share prices witnessed a massive downfall on Thursday’s trading session after the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA), India's accounting regulatory body, commenced an investigation into a member firm associated with EY, the longstanding auditors of the Adani Group, as per Bloomberg report.

Adani Green plunged over 5.84%, meanwhile, Adani Power fell 5.72% on Thursday. Other Adani stocks are also trading in red on October 26.

Recent weeks have seen the commencement of an inquiry against S.R. Batliboi, which is one of EY's member firms in India, according to sources familiar with the matter who informed the news agency.

“We strongly reject any suggestion that Adani Group and its businesses have not acted as per the regulations and accounting standards of the jurisdictions in which we operate. The Adani Group has always conducted its business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and is confident about its practices, governance and disclosures,” Adani Group said in a statement.

Adani Enterprises

The flagship company of Adani Group opened at Rs 2,247.95 per piece on Thursday against previous close at Rs 2,257 per share on Wednesday. Adani Enterprises share price touched an intraday low of 3.44% at Rs 2,170.70 per piece at 9:45 am IST on October 26.

Adani Green Energy

The stock opened higher at Rs 863.25 per piece in early morning trading session on Thursday, against previous close at Rs 876.15 on Wednesday. The stock fell over 5.84% to Rs 824.95 per piece at 10:22 am IST.

Adani Power

Adani Power share price was trading 5.72% lower at Rs 294.80 per piece at 10:22 am IST on Thursday.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone

The stock opened at Rs 764  per share on Thursday, against previous close at Rs 769.10 on Wednesday. Adani Ports and SEZ share price rose intraday low to Rs 754.75 at 10: 24 am on NSE on October 26.

Adani Wilmar

Adani Wilmar share price is trading 3.81% lower at Rs 308.15 per piece at 10:25 am IST on NSE on Thursday. 

Adani Total Gas

Adani Total Gas stock touched an intraday low to Rs 526.35 per piece at 10:26 am, rising by 4.38% since morning.
