Apple has introduced a new office in Bengaluru. It is located in Bengaluru's Minsk Square, near the parliament, high court, central library, and Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium. This huge 15-storey workplace, which can accommodate up to 1200 employees at once, aims to foster innovation, creativity, and co-response ability. It includes separate labs, as well as wellness and collaboration areas with the famous Caffe Macs, to offer an appropriate environment for software engineering teams, hardware technologies, and operations creation support.

The interior design of the office includes locally derived materials, with stone and wood adorning the walls and covering another portion of the flooring. Indigenous plants are located throughout the workstation, contributing to a natural and environmentally friendly atmosphere. In accordance with Apple's sustainability strategy, the Bengaluru office follows established energy efficiency standards and is powered entirely by renewable energy. Apple aims to pursue LEED Platinum certification, the highest level of environmental accreditation.

Of particular note, Apple has been a carbon-neutral corporate entity since 2020 and has used renewable energy to power all of its facilities since 2018. The Bengaluru office is the newest addition to Apple's corporate office footprint in key Indian cities such as Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram, marking another significant milestone in the company's more than 25-year history in India.

The teams at the Bengaluru headquarters work on various aspects of the Apple business, including software, hardware, services, information and technology operations, and support, to name a few. With around 3,000 employees in India, Apple's collaboration with Indian suppliers benefits hundreds of thousands of jobs in the country.

In addition to its corporate endeavours, Apple is actively involved in meaningful collaborations throughout India, collaborating with organisations such as Frank Water. This collaboration enables villages on the outskirts of Bengaluru to safeguard their watersheds, benefiting both environmental protection and community development.
