Maruti Suzuki Sales:  Maruti Suzuki India's total vehicle sales, including exports, rose 5 per cent to 1,99,364 units in January. The number was at 1,72,535 in the same month last year, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, Total domestic sales rose by 13 per cent to 1,70,214 vehicles. The company had sold 1,51,367 units last year. this is the highest monthly sales as per volume for the Gurugram-based carmaker.

According to the statement, Maruti Suzuki India sold 23,921 vehicles in overseas markets last month.

Total domestic sales of passenger vehicles last month stood at 1,66,802 units, up by 13.20 per cent from 1,47,348 vehicles sold in January 2023, the company said.

Royal Enfield sales In January 2024

Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield said that its total vehicle sales in January 2024 rose 2 per cent year-on-year to 76,187 units. In January last year, the company sold a total of 74,746 motorcycles.

Domestic sales rose 4 per cent to 70,556 motorcycles last month, while exports fell 20 per cent to 5,631 units, it stood at 7,044 units in January last year.

Ashok Layland January Sales

Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland reported a fall of 7 per cent in its vehicle sales, including exports, in January.

The company sold 17,200 units during the last year, it said in a statement.
