Bajaj Finserve Q1 Result:  Bajaj Finserv Ltd stated on Wednesday that its consolidated net profit increased by 10% to Rs 2,138 crore in the first quarter ended June 2024. The company had a net profit of Rs 1,943 crore in the year-ago period. BFL said in a regulatory filing that total income in the quarter rose to Rs 31,480 crore from Rs 23,280 crore in the year-ago period.

BFL is the holding company for various financial services businesses under the Bajaj Group. Total expenditure also climbed to Rs 25,514 crore from Rs 18,157 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

In the quarter, the profit of its subsidiary Bajaj Allianz General Insurance increased by 39% to Rs 576 crore. Another subsidiary, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, saw its profit rise to Rs 104 crore from Rs 94 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

CG Power and Industrial Solution q1 Result

CG Power & Industrial Solutions on Wednesday stated that its consolidated net profit for the June quarter of FY20 increased by more than 18% to Rs 241.24 crore. Net profit stood at Rs 203.84 crore in the year-ago period, according to BSE filings.
Total income increased to Rs 2,260.67 crore in the quarter from Rs 1,896.15 crore a year ago.

Stock Market Today

The stock market extended the budget day loss as both the domestic indices traded in red on Wednesday. Earlier On Budget Day the stock indices experienced huge volatility after the Finance minister announced an increment in taxes on capital gains.
