Bank Holiday: Banks will remain closed on Friday in Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. In-person financial work will not take place on this day. But ATMs, UPI payments and other banking activities can continue to operate without any disruption. The banking operations will function normally in other parts of the country.

The Indian festival of Karwa Chauth, an age-old practice in which married Hindu women fast and pray for the well-being of their husbands, will be celebrated tomorrow, October 10, 2025. Most of northern India celebrates this festival. 

RBI released a list of holidays for October. People should check the list before visiting the branches to avoid inconvenience.
