Bank Holiday Today: Bank holidays are subject to the regularities and guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). All the private and public banks will remain closed across the country today, November 22, marking the fourth Saturday of the month.

In accordance with the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all the banks, whether private or government, observe mandatory holidays on every second and fourth Saturdays of the month, along with every Sunday.

Apart from Saturday and Sunday, Banks observe holidays on national, cultural and religious occasions, many of which are state-specific due to different cultural and religious practices across the different parts of the country.

Bank Closed? Here’s How To Get Your Work Done

If banks in your state are shut due to a holiday or strike, but you have urgent banking work, don’t worry, most of it can be done from home. All you need is a smartphone or a laptop and an internet connection.

What you can easily do online or through ATM:

- Withdraw cash from any nearby ATM

- Transfer money (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI)

- Pay credit card or utility bills

- Check account balance and download statements

- Open fixed/recurring deposits

- Recharge mobile/DTH

- Block or order a new debit/credit card

- UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Paytm, etc.)

List Of Bank Holidays In November

The are no mandatory or RBI-regulated holidays left this month except two Sundays. The fifth Saturday of the month will be a usual full working day.
