Bank Holiday Today: As per the guidelines and holiday roster of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all banks, including government and private, are closed on every second and fourth Saturday of the month across the country, along with mandatory leave on Sunday, national holidays, and state-specific holidays.

All the banks across India will remain open today, November 29, which is the fifth Saturday of the month. According to the Reserve Bank of India region-wise holiday calendar (RBI) for the fiscal year 2025-26, Banks are closed on all Saturdays and Sundays except for the first, third, and fifth Saturdays.
All scheduled and non-scheduled banks will observe public holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays,” the RBI guideline said.

While the banks' holidays vary state-to-state, as per the December holiday roster of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will observe 19 days off, including weekends and state-specific holidays.
