The Bharat Coking Coal IPO listing date, which was earlier scheduled for today, i.e., January 16, has been postponed to Monday, January 19, as the share distribution to the successful bidders could not be completed due to the stock market observing a holiday on January 15 for Maharashtra's municipal corporation election.

Meanwhile, despite the listing being postponed, the grey market premium of the BCCL IPO is showing a sign of robust gain at the time of debut. According to Investorgain, a grey market tracker, the shares of BCCL were trading at Rs 36.9, up Rs 13.9 or 60.43 per cent as compared to the upper end of the IPO's price band--RS 23.

The Rs 1,071.11 crore IPO of Coal India's arm got an overwhelming response from investors, subscribed over 146 times. The share sale was an entire offer for sale by Coal India, opened on January 9.

As the share allotment of the Bharat Coking Coal IPO has already finalised, the shares will be credited to the Demat account of successful bidders today, and the refunds for unsuccessful investors will be initiated on the same day as well.

Meanwhile, investors who have placed bids can check their BCCL IPO allotment status on the registrar's KFin Technologies Ltd website, or the same can be checked through the official websites of exchanges.

- You need to visit the KFinTech official website. You can also jump to the IPO allotment page using https://ipostatus.kfintech.com/.

- Next, you will have to select the BCCL IPO name from the dropdown menu.

- Now, to proceed, you need to select any options-- PAN, Application Number, or Demat Account.

- Next, you enter the details according to the selection you made in the previous step.

- Click on the ‘Submit’ button, and you will have the share allotment status on your screen.

After a highly successful subscription period, between January 9 and 13, wherein Coal India's arm BCCL received 146.87 times bidding against the total allotted shares.

BCCL IPO Subscription Status

The IPO was subscribed 146.87 times, getting bids for 50,95,55,58,000 shares against 34,69,46,500 total allotted shares.

The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category was subscribed to 310.81 times, followed by 258.16 times bid by Non-Institutional Investors. Meanwhile, the retail investors' quota was subscribed 49.83 times. At the same time, the shares reserved for employees and shareholders have been subscribed 5.18 times and 87.29 times, respectively.
