We may not all have a credit card but we all definitely have a debit card. The year you open an account in a bank, many banks do not charge you on your debit card in the first year, but from the second year onwards, charges start being levied on it.

However, if your debit card is stolen or lost or damaged, you have to pay additional charges to replace this card. However, how much this charge will be depends on the type of your debit card.

SBI

SBI, the country's largest government bank, charges Rs 300 plus 18 percent GST for replacing a debit card.

PNB

PNB charges its customers between Rs 150 and Rs 500 to replace their debit cards.

ICICI Bank

ICICI, one of the large private banks, charges Rs 200 plus 18 percent GST from its customers for debit card replacement.

Yes Bank

Yes Bank charges Rs 199 plus taxes from its customers for exchanging their debit cards.

Canara Bank

Canara Bank charges its users Rs 150 plus 18 percent GST for debit card replacement.
