Diwali Muhurat Trading 2023:  The year 2023 has so far turned out to be a year of absolute cheer for the stock market investors. Both -the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange- hit all-time highs this year even after a grim couple of years following the COVID-19 setback. Even though the year is sliding towards a newer beginning, it still has a lot of 'auspicious' to come. The festivities of Diwali are around and so is the 'Diwali Muhurat Trading'.

Both the benchmark stock exchanges will conduct Diwali Muhurat Trading on November 12 to mark the auspicious festival. According to Indian beliefs, Ma Mahalakshmi is a goddess of fortune, beauty and wealth. She bestows prosperity on people's lives and it is believed that she graces the devotees on the festival of Diwali. Therefore, the tradition of Muhurat Trading, a blend of finance and festival, has been observed on the day of Diwali since 1957.
