Gold Price Today: The gold price fell significantly on commodity exchange platforms after the festive season was over. At around 9:10 am, the gold rate on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was trading lower at Rs78,434 per 10 grams, down 0.55 per cent against the previous day's closing price. The Gold rates have been trading higher for the last 15 days. The gold rate keeps changing on commodity exchange platforms the whole day, tracking the demand and supply of the metal. However, the gold price remains the same in the retail market on a given day.
