Gold Rate Today: After declining significantly in the last two sessions, gold futures prices for April 4, 2025 on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged a bit on Monday, i.e. March 02, 2025. As of around 09:57 am, the gold futures price was at the level of Rs 84,600.0, up 0.45% % from the previous day's closing price. Earlier last month, the gold futures price on the trading platform had hit an all-time high of Rs 86,592.

Gold prices in the retail market have surged a bit in India. Gold prices have hit several all-time highs throughout February as the retail market has seen unprecedented levels this year. With gold prices surging, the domestic stock market has been struggling to recover from a bearish trend.
