Gold Rate Today: The gold price in the domestic futures market soared high in early trade after falling in the last trading sessions. At around 10:36 am, the gold future contract, expiring on June 5, 2025, was at Rs 93,604.00, up 0.76% on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The MCX gold price today opened in negative territory at Rs 92,885.0 per 10 grams against the previous session's closing price of Rs 92,901.0. However, the gold rate recovered from the early loss and surged over Rs 750 per 10 grams to hit an intraday high at Rs 93,700 at the time of writing.

Following the soaring demand amid the wedding season, the gold price in India zoomed a bit on Tuesday, i.e. May 13, 2025, in the retail market. According to Goodreturns, the gold rate for 22-carat purity soared by Rs 1,500 per 10 grams. Whereas for 24-carat gold, the price surged by Rs 1,600 per 10 grams.
