Gold Price Today: Gold rates rose significantly on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) compared with the previous close price on Friday i.e. November 22. The yellow metal had plunged precipitously after the festival season ended earlier this month. At approximately 10:52 am, the gold rate on MCX was trading 0.54 per cent higher at Rs. 77,104. Last month, the gold rate had crossed Rs. 80,000 around Diwali and Dhanteras. The gold rate keeps fluctuating throughout the day on different commodity exchange platforms, depending on the demand and supply of the yellow metal. However, the gold rate stays the same throughout the day in the retail market.

The rate of gold in India continued to maintain the upward trend on November 22 as well. The god rate increased significantly compared to the previous day. Today, the rate of 22-carat gold in India is Rs 72,250 per 10 grams and for 24-carat, the price is Rs. 78,820. At the same time, the rate of 18-karat gold is Rs 59,120.
