Gold Price Today: A day after Dhanteras, the price of gold surged a bit on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), At around 9:41 am, the gold rate was at Rs79,462 per 10 grams, up 0.29 per cent against the last closing value. The rate of gold fluctuates the whole day on commodity exchange platforms, tracking the demand and supply of the yellow metal. However, the gold price remains steady for any given day in the retail or physical market.
