MCX Gold, Silver Rates Today: The Gold and Silver rates fell marginally in the domestic market after a sharp decline in international crude prices and a sign of ease in geo-political situations after US President Donald Trump said that the ongoing conflict will end soon. The Gold Futures, June 5 expiry, declined over Rs 600 to a low of Rs 1,59,319 per 10 grams as compared to last day's closing of Rs 1,60,006 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

Similarly, the Silver futures contract, July 3 expiry, fell over Rs 3,000 to a low of Rs 2,70,752 per kilogram as compared to the last day's closing of Rs 2,74,265 on MCX.

Last seen, the MCX Silver was trading at Rs 2,71,700, down Rs 2565 or 0.94 per cent. MCX Gold was quoted at Rs 1,59,648, down Rs 358 or 0.22 per cent.

"MCX Gold opened with a mild gap down and is currently holding above the Rs 1,59,500 mark. Immediate resistance is placed at Rs 1,60,000–Rs 1,60,400; a sustained move above this zone could help strengthen momentum and push prices toward Rs 1,61,000. On the downside, Rs 1,59,000–Rs 1,58,500 acts as immediate support, while a break below this range may extend weakness toward Rs 1,58,000–Rs 1,57,500," said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.
